FOOTBALL - The Ultimate Team Sport

Join us for the inaugural season of the Mammoth Arena Football League. We are creating an opportunity for adult men of all ages and abilities to play football in tight knit teams. We are Calgary's only full contact adult six-man football league. We runs in the fall, winter, and possibly spring. Full Tackle football, and developing you as a player. Everyone plays. 6 players a side. We are committed to helping men win on the field and in life.

We have a secured a venue next to McMahon Stadium Friday nights at 900pm. Our first game will be January 15th and we will run the league right through to Mar. 5th. 8 games in total will be played. This Venue will work for our game, space on the sidelines, soft walls and high ceilings for going long.

The league is on. Please see us in person if you missed the opening meeting but still want to play.

Fees:	195.00 for the entire season!

Ages:	18+
Equipment:	All players must provide and wear their own football pads. NOCSAE certified helmets and shoulder pads are mandatory. Contact us for a list of suppliers. Some rental options may also be available.

VISION & VALUES

* We play by the established 6-a-side tackle rules.

* Players will be divided onto teams. At first, we will train together and the teams will likely change.

* As we get tighter, we'll spawn off into set teams of about 10 guys each, with 6 on the field at a time. Each team will begin to develop it's own rhythm. This allows for subs and some buffer for injuries.

* We play at a level that is both competitive and fun.

* We welcome players from all backgrounds and with all body types and abilities.

* Each player is challenged to push for their next best level, thru coaching, conditioning and skill development.

* More experienced players are encouraged to mentor and teach.

* We encourage development of healthy life skills and attitudes thru playing the game.

* We recognize that football is an intense contact sport, and we like it that way.

* To follow, we will play with good sportsmanship and an intent to challenge everyone to be their best, not with malice or intent to hurt.
